WBA Judicial Endorsement Procedures

endorsementA judicial vacancy will be created in the York County/City of Poquoson Circuit Court, when the current sitting judge, Hon. Richard Y. AtLee, Jr., retires from the position. The WBA has announced a meeting on February 20, 2015 to consider candidate endorsement(s).

If you are interested in applying for the position and wish to seek endorsement of the WBA, the WBA Executive Committee has developed written procedures for making the endorsement of a candidate. The procedures may be read by clicking here: Endorsement Procedures. Please note that only those persons who qualify as active members (including those being current in the payment of dues) at least 10 days before the special meeting will be eligible to vote at the meeting. Those persons desiring to be candidates for the endorsements should submit a resume to our President, Gordon C.
